Feuerstein, R., Falik, L. H., and Feuerstein, R. S.
In this volume Professor Reuven Feuerstein provides a first-person narrative of the development of the concept of mediated learning experience (MLE), and links it to both its philosophical and cultural roots and to issues of putting it into practice. He offers personal observations of experiences with the implementation of MLE, recalling unique case examples that helped him to further define the concept and teach it to others. He also offers new perspectives on its meaning for learning process and cultural transmissions. There are supplimental chapters from Rabbi Rafi Feuerstein, on the effects of modern media access on the development of thinking, and Dr. Shmuel Feuerstein on the use of questioning in MLE.
